Inn at Corolla

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel, and our experience was absolutely fabulous. The entire property was spotless, and everything was well-maintained. The staff was extremely courteous and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We felt welcomed from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and enjoyable place to stay.

If you’re looking for an authentic and genuine place to stay that captures the very essence of the Outer Banks, this is the place for you. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly (Shout outs to Alexis, Fernando, and Bruce!) for making our stay extra special. Our room was number 42 and I think it’s probably one of the best rooms with a shared balcony and perfect views. We will be back!

We stayed for a couple of nights just before the Inn closed for the season… The two dogs and Older couple had a wonderful time! The room was very modern and comfortable, and the service was beyond expectations! Be sure not to book with Booking.com, but to call the hotel directly. The continental Breakfast was filling. We had a great time exploring the sound north and south of the Inn. It’s rare to find a dog friendly accommodation that is so appealing. We will be back!

This is our second time bringing pups to this establishment. Both times we have felt welcome and both times we have had a great time. The breakfast is as advertised a continental but definitely serves its purpose. The large size of the suite with our large dogs was appreciated and the upgrades were also noted and appreciated. Alexis, who was in the office when our big dog decided to chew through her leash and run away, helped us get her before she got hit by a car. It was mostly a relaxing vacation otherwise. I highly recommend anyone who likes to travel with their pups in a beautiful location with beautiful views and beautiful sunsets consider staying here. You won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Corrola Light! The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the staff made us feel at home. Rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend it!” October 19, 2025.

Great place to stay! Beautiful sunsets from dock. Friendly staff and great services. Added bonus for breakfast. Bruce is a gem! Meet him every morning for breakfast. He set up all the breakfast.

Beautiful location!! Gorgeous room! Great hospitality. Booked this place last minute on a road trip just for the night. Debated in the morning if we could squeeze another night here if time allowed. Will definitely be coming back for a longer stay!

Stayed for 3 nights in Oct. weather was great! Had a king suite with sound view, very nice. Some rooms have door opening out to the sound with a lovely porch to sit on, ours didn’t. The bed was firm which we like, but the linens were cheap and worn, pilling in many places. Pillows smelled funky. The little kitchen definitely needs a Reno. The room was large but space not utilized well. Example, in the sitting area is a couch but the tv is in bedroom. The tv is a far distance from the bed and just one small chair to sit. You have to sit on a hard wood dining chair if two people watch tv. The bathroom was adequate. The dark blue towels had several bleach spots on them. The breakfast area was nice but selections very minimal. Yogurt, bagels, muffins and cereal. Overall, this was a fairly clean and nice motel.
